April 20th Update

Well, it has been over a month, but here finally is a new update. The sound quality isn’t the greatest, as I just wanted to get it out rather than worrying about the editing part.

Here is the list of goals that I took some type of action on over the last month.

Completed
95. get lights for my bike

Progress
8. visit my nephew at least once a month (12/33) — saw him a couple of times this month, but didn’t really get to do anything with him

Mar 9th Update

I’m finally here with another update. As I mention in the blog, I had some issues with my kitten and the microphone that I finally got resolved. Here is the link to the Columbus Museum of Art if any one is interested. I do recommend it.

Here is my nephew’s painting. Click for a larger picture.

Finally, I mentioned that I think it looks like the Hey Arnold kid. But it is actually the Arthur cartoon on PBS.

Feb 25th Update

The next entry is up today/tonight. It is a little longer than the first one, coming in a little under 10 minutes. I actually did my first real edit, taking out a part where the kitten attacked the microphone. That wasn’t too hard, and it should be even easier to do next time.

Feb 17th Update

Here is the first update. As I mention in the recording, this audio blog serves two purposes. First of it all, I’m hoping to keep the 101 List a little more in focus so I can be checking things off the. Second it is practice speaking into the microphone, so that it doesn’t completely sound like crap when I decide to do the podcast.

It is a little short of 8 mins, so hopefully it isn’t too much of a chore to listen to. There are lip smacks, paper shuffling, and heavy breathing, which I’ll eventually figure out how to edit out. But for today, I decided to take the advice of the old Nike commercial and “Just Do It.”
