Extended Thanksgiving Log

I didn’t really try to get a detailed eating log over the extended weekend. I probably should have, but I didn’t. Instead, here are some daily highlights.

Thursday the 26th

I have Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and sister in the evening. I did pretty good about not snacking before dinner, and when I did it was usually grabbing something from the veggie tray. Also, dinner was a full plate, but no seconds. But after dinner, there was way to much dessert.

Friday the 27th

I met a couple of friends and we went to City BBQ for dinner. I had a beef brisket sandwich w/cole slaw, and mac & cheese. Also, had some apple pie that my mom sent home with me from the day before. I did get on the elliptical for 45 mins though.

Saturday the 28th

Thanksgiving with the Kludys. Since it was a lunch, I skipped breakfast. Throughout the course of the day, I had three plates, which wasn’t too bad. But there was a ton of junk food sitting out and I snacked way too much all day long. The low point of the evening was getting a headache around 6p or 7p. I took something for it, but it never completely went away. By the time I got home around midnight, it was mostly gone. Unfortunately, I woke up around 7am and it was back in full force. After taking some Aleve I managed to get back to sleep.

Sunday the 29th

I got up at 1:30pm, with the headache completely gone. I had Subway (turkey on wheat) for lunch and leftover turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing for dinner. I also finished off the last slice of apple pie and the strawberry, cream cheese, pretzel dessert that also came home with me on Thursday. Only the pumpkin pie remains from Thursday, and I should probably just pitch it. I get get on the elliptical for 45 mins, but it was hard getting motivated to actually get started.
