The day was definitely influenced by going to the Dame’s for the evening. Even though there was a lot of snacking, I didn’t feel like I did too bad at all.

Sleep Log
Not a lot of trouble sleeping last night, but I did have trouble actually getting to bed. It was almost 3:30am by the time I went to bed. That, in turn, made it difficult to get up this morning and I hit the snooze about 5 or 6 times.

Sleep Log
I was very tired when I got up this morning. That might have been impacted by the trip to the chiropractor, where I essentially laid around for the first 40 minutes or so there. I didn’t have any trouble falling asleep, but I was up a little past 3am. Only hit the snooze once to get up a bit before 10am.
Exercise Log
I actually took today off as well. My back didn’t feel tight after going to the chiropractor, but did feel a little tender. That isn’t that unusual though.

Not a whole lot to report today. I was kind of tired right after I got off work, but not enough to want to take a nap.

Sleep Log
Slept much better last night. I stayed up until almost 3am, but feel asleep pretty quickly after I did go to bed. I only hit the snooze button once this morning, getting up just before 10am. I can live with that.

Really, really, really need to get back at this. As great as I felt in September, I felt almost as bad in October. Nothing really major, just a combination of little things that really added up. Mostly, I say it was the crappy weather that did the most damage. The rain and cold meant that the bike riding came to an end. I never caught a cold, but it was a close thing at the beginning of the month. Spending time on an airplane to Denver probably didn’t help that any at all. There was also some changes in medication, which my body didn’t seem to like at all.
Those little things completely got me out of the habits that I was trying to build in September. I’m not completely back to square one, as I am still down 9.5 pounds from Sep 1st. Of course, that means I am up 4 pounds from where I was on Sep 24. Considering how little I exercised, how poorly I ate, and how crappy I felt, only 4 pounds felt like a minor victory when I got on the scale.

I had a very hard time getting to sleep last night. Even with DST over the weekend, I have struggled to get to bed at a decent time. Part of the reason last night, as I was doing a lot of planning for today. I took the day off from work and had several errands to run. My mind was racing, trying to add new things to the to-do list. Predictably, this led to being tired this morning and dragging big time. I was fine once I got out of the house, but getting started was a struggle.

I took the day off. I will probably take tomorrow off as well, and then try to get back into it on Thursday after my chiropractor appointment.
